Our Credentials

Harwoods are members of the following professional bodies and organisations.

The National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA) is the UK's leading professional body for estate agency. Its 10,000 members both in the UK and overseas are bound by strict rules of conduct to ensure they offer you the highest level of integrity and service.

Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) members are qualified & experienced professionals offering independent and impartial advice. Members must update their knowledge and competence during their working life through RICS' Continuous Professional Development regulations so you can be confident the advice you get will be of the highest and most professional standard.

The Association of Residential Lettings Agents (ARLA) was formed in 1981 as the professional and regulatory body for letting agents in the UK. It was recognised that the requirements of the residential lettings market were so detailed and specific that a separate organisation was required to promote standards in this important and growing sector of the property market.

OEA Member Agents must follow the OEA Code of Practice. This sets out the framework within which member Agents must operate and the standards of service they must provide for both buyers and sellers.  The Code has been approved by the Office of Fair Trading under its Consumer Codes Approval Scheme.
